Looking Ahead: What’s Coming from Buick and GMC in 2022

It’s hard to believe that 2021 is almost gone. As a brand that’s always looking to the future, Buick and GMC have some big plans for what the next year has in stock. From redesigns to amazing news, there are so many great things to be excited about from Buick and GMC in 2022.
GMC Hummer
The Hummer nameplate evokes one idea in many people’s minds—gas-guzzler. Well, after 2022, that will no longer be true. GMC is resurrecting this iconic name with a twist: All-Electric. The first, an all-electric pickup truck is already set for production by the end of 2021 and we anticipate that the Hummer SUV will be in production sometime in 2023. Both models promise unmatched off-roading capability while offering drivers a luxury experience and an alternative to fuel.
Enclave Refreshed
For several years, Buick has worked hard to thwart its aging image and the refreshed Buick Enclave is achieving that in spades. This aggressive update brings this five-seater SUV squarely into the ring with the likes of the new Acura MDX and BMW X7. The distinctive exterior styling is complemented by the latest technology and generous standard features for the whole family. The available Sport Tuning Package is perfect for drivers who have been eying the MDX Type S.
iCR8™ Boot Camp
Earlier this year, GMC and General Motors announced a 3-year sponsorship for iCR8 Boot Camp, which will start in 2022. The camp is a partnership with the Marcus Graham Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the next generation of BIPOC leaders. The camp will provide aspiring BIPOC leaders with the tools and experience they need to pursue careers in media and marketing.
